Passengers on board a flight to Gold Coast Australia lost two days after a medical emergency that got them stranded in Bali.

What was thought to be an 8 hour flight stretched out to over 2 days instead as one person on board the plane needed medical attention. The plane diverted its course to land in Bali but when everyone thought the wait was over, a few hours after take off, the flight diverted AGAIN because another person onboard had a medical emergency!

On top of two diverted flights, there were some immigration issues as well.

You can practically feel the aggravation from the passengers.

Passengers were of course, not allowed to leave and were left stranded in Bali (DPS) airport.

AIrAsia made sure to provide the best they could for the inconvenience. Passengers were offered free meals and free accommodation for the first night. However the second night they had to stay at the terminal.

A passenger that was on board the flight, Harish Kumar mentioned,

“Little bit traumatic, still no showers or nothing, communication was very poor,”

“I am glad to be back home.”

Passenger Jason Morrisby said he was glad to be home.

“The worst part [was] not knowing when we were about to leave … also just waiting at the gate,” he said.

“It was just chaos. I would say the flight from hell honestly, it was like landing in Bali, left again, landed in Bali, left again.

“I don’t even remember now it was that bad.”

In a statement, AirAsia said the medical needs of its guests were its priority.
